Uzbekistan KD Natural Gas Burner Project Case
I. Project Introduction
In recent years, the government of Uzbekistan has attached great importance to environmental protection and air quality improvement, successively introducing multiple environmental policies and regulations and advancing the national “Clean Air” program. These measures explicitly require industrial enterprises to reduce air pollutant emissions and impose strict environmental controls and upgrade requirements on highly polluting industries. The sintered brick industry, as a traditional industrial sector, has seen its kiln combustion emissions become a key target of environmental governance. Uzbekistan has clearly required brick plants to phase out high-pollution combustion equipment, promote clean fuels and efficient combustion technologies, reduce harmful gas emissions, and minimize air pollution, while gradually standardizing brick production practices and promoting the green and low-carbon transformation of the industry.

Against this policy backdrop, the Uzbekistan KD brick plant, in order to comply with national environmental policies and achieve compliant production, decided to upgrade the combustion system of its existing tunnel kiln by introducing efficient, environmentally friendly all‑external‑fired natural gas burners. Xi’an Brictec Machinery, with its mature technical expertise and extensive industry experience, successfully undertook this upgrade project, helping the customer meet environmental standards and achieve production improvements.

II. Project Overview
The Uzbekistan KD project is a landmark project for Xi’an Brictec Machinery (Brictec) natural gas burners in the Central Asian market, marking the successful entry of Brictec combustion technology into the Central Asian building materials market and further expanding Brictec’s international influence. The project focuses on clay sintered brick production. Addressing the problems of high pollution and low efficiency in the original combustion system, it adopted an all‑external‑fired natural gas combustion mode for the tunnel kiln, carrying out a comprehensive upgrade of the existing kiln combustion system.

The tunnel kiln for this project has a cross‑section of 3.6 meters, suitable for large‑scale clay sintered brick production. In 2023, Xi’an Brictec Machinery completed the combustion system upgrade for this project, supplying a total of 12 sets of natural gas burners, including 3 sets of automatic ignition natural gas burners and 7 sets of standard natural gas burners, forming a scientific and reasonable firing layout that meets emission requirements while ensuring production efficiency and product quality.

III. Recognition of Energy Saving and Environmental Protection
After the project upgrade was completed and put into operation, the environmental performance and high efficiency of the Brictec all‑external‑fired natural gas burners received high recognition and full affirmation from the customer, perfectly meeting the requirements of Uzbekistan’s national environmental policies.
In terms of energy saving, the Brictec burners, with their precise temperature control adjustment capabilities and high combustion efficiency, significantly reduced natural gas consumption. Compared with the original combustion system, energy consumption dropped markedly, effectively lowering the customer’s operating costs. At the same time, the three sets of automatic ignition natural gas burners achieved intelligent ignition and automatic temperature control, reducing manual operation, improving combustion stability, and ensuring uniform kiln temperature. This resulted in clay sintered bricks with consistent color and excellent quality, further enhancing the market competitiveness of the customer's products.

The customer gave high praise to the performance, environmental effect, and energy‑saving advantages of the Brictec burners, stating that the upgrade not only helped the plant achieve the dual goals of reducing energy consumption and improving product quality, but also expressed strong recognition of Brictec Machinery’s technical strength, product quality, and service level. This project has laid a solid foundation for further market expansion of Brictec burners in Central Asia.
