Tajikistan BAHA Project Pulverized Coal Burner Case
Solid burner applicable fuels: pulverized coal / petroleum coke
I. Project Overview
The Tajikistan BAHA project is located in the city of Levakant, Tajikistan. It is a key building materials project initiated by the founder of a local corporation, aimed at responding to the fourth national goal of the Republic of Tajikistan – accelerating the national industrialization process – and supporting the country’s vision of increasing industrial output value and achieving industrial transformation and upgrading. Tajikistan is currently pushing forward its industrialization strategy, targeting an average annual industrial growth rate of no less than 25% over the next five years. As a key project in the local building materials sector, the BAHA project serves as an important practical vehicle for this strategy.

This project is a significant benchmark for Xi’an Brictec (Brictec) in responding to the national “Belt and Road” initiative and deeply cultivating the Central Asian market. It is also a vivid example of China–Tajikistan building materials technology cooperation. From raw material processing, forming, drying, tunnel kiln firing, to finished sintered products, the entire process design and construction were fully implemented by Xi’an Brictec. With mature technical strength and professional engineering services, Brictec has built the most advanced automated sintered brick plant in the Khatlon region, helping the local building materials industry transform toward standardization, automation, and high quality.

On March 20, 2022, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, entrusted this project – the largest brick production enterprise in the Khatlon region – to carry out production activities using the new technology production line. The President highly appreciated the entrepreneurial spirit of the project founder and emphasized the need to pay attention to product quality during production. He noted that high-quality sintered products can not only enhance enterprise competitiveness but also help upgrade the quality of local construction engineering, demonstrating the high importance the country attaches to this project.

II. Core Project Parameters and Equipment Configuration
The project focuses on large-scale production of standardized sintered bricks, equipped with an advanced tunnel kiln and Brictec’s professional pulverized coal combustion system. The core configuration is as follows:
Project name: Tajikistan BAHA Project
Kiln type: Tunnel kiln, dimensions 105.2m × 3.6m × 1.67m – scientifically designed with sufficient firing space, suitable for continuous production needs, ensuring uniform heating and thorough firing of green bricks.
Production capacity: Daily output of 100,000 sintered bricks – strong large-scale production capability, fully meeting the building materials market demand of the local and surrounding areas.
Product specifications: Focus on 250×120×65 mm sintered bricks – regular appearance, stable strength, widely applicable to various building wall projects, and highly adaptable to market needs.
Combustion system configuration: Uses pulverized coal as fuel, equipped with 12 sets of Xi’an Brictec professional pulverized coal burners – high combustion efficiency, precise temperature control, suitable for tunnel kiln firing process requirements, balancing energy saving and environmental protection, in line with Tajikistan’s policies on waste recycling and green production.

III. Project Outcomes
In 2021, when most parts of the world were hit by the COVID-19 pandemic and international logistics and construction faced many obstacles, Xi’an Brictec (Brictec) resolutely undertook this project. Staying true to the original project vision, the team overcame various difficulties caused by the pandemic and made every effort to advance project design, construction, equipment installation, and other tasks, ensuring the project progressed as planned.

Currently, the BAHA project has officially commenced production. After project acceptance and delivery, the national leader of Tajikistan made a special inspection tour, highly praising and fully affirming the project’s construction quality, level of automation, and production processes, recognizing the project’s important role in promoting local industrial development and upgrading the building materials industry.
This cooperation not only demonstrates Xi’an Brictec’s technical strength and sense of responsibility in providing overall solutions for overseas sintered brick production lines but also practices the “Belt and Road” initiative, building a bridge for China–Tajikistan building materials technology cooperation. The stable configuration of Brictec’s 12 sets of pulverized coal burners provides core thermal support for the project’s efficient, high-quality production, helping the customer achieve large-scale, standardized production while contributing to Tajikistan’s accelerated industrialization process and improved construction quality. This has further expanded the influence of the Brictec brand in the Central Asian market and laid a solid foundation for further overseas market development.
