I. Project Overview

The Fujian Yongjiu Lithium Battery New Materials project plans to construct a total of 4 lithium-ion battery anode material production lines and 10 graphite precursor production lines. Using needle coke, natural graphite, pitch, and natural flake graphite as core raw materials, the project is equipped with 4 carbonization process tunnel kilns and hundreds of sets of crushing, dust removal, and other key equipment. It is an important large-scale production base for new energy anode materials in the region. The project adopts advanced processes and strict energy consumption control, selecting high-efficiency and energy-saving production equipment throughout, focusing on the large-scale manufacturing of high-quality lithium battery anode materials and graphite precursors, supporting the stable upgrading of the new energy industry chain.

II. Equipment Application

In March 2026, the GCS tunnel kiln burner and fully automatic tubular chain conveying system, independently developed and manufactured by Xi’an Brictec Machinery Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd., were officially shipped. They are used in the firing process of Fujian Yongjiu Lithium Battery New Materials, providing core thermal support for the high-temperature carbonization of graphite and carbon materials.

Brictec Machinery’s kiln solid fuel combustion system is compatible with various solid fuels such as petroleum coke and biomass. It integrates metering, crushing, drying, automatic feeding, and combustion monitoring. Designed specifically for continuous tunnel kiln high-temperature calcination processes, it perfectly meets the automation and stability requirements of carbonization production for lithium battery anode and cathode materials.

III. Technical Advantages

(1) Fully automatic process control
The system automatically adjusts fuel feed in real time according to the kiln temperature, achieving unmanned intelligent operation, minimizing human intervention, and ensuring stable and consistent firing conditions.

Fuel is delivered precisely on demand, with high combustion efficiency, saving 20%–30% in fuel consumption compared to conventional systems, reducing production costs and pollutant emissions.

(3) Uniform and stable temperature field inside the kiln
Multi-point precise temperature control achieves uniform temperature across the cross-section and length of the tunnel kiln, ensuring uniform carbonization of artificial graphite and anode materials, improving product consistency and yield.

(4) Efficient solid fuel handling
The burner has an integrated crushing mechanism that can pulverize fuel to 200 mesh or finer. Together with the temperature control system, it enables continuous and stable combustion, suitable for various high-temperature firing kiln types.

IV. Project Delivery

On April 20, 2026, the Brictec Machinery GCS tunnel kiln burner and fully automatic tubular chain conveying system successfully completed the first ignition and commissioning. The tubular chain automatic conveying, online system monitoring, burner operation, automatic flame size adjustment, sensors, signal control, and all other aspects operated stably, with all indicators meeting design requirements, marking the successful and formal delivery of this project.
